The Ridge Park
A stroll in Ridge Park, a small stretch of flat land above Gangtok town, is an ideal way of spending your leisure hours. It stretches from the gates of the Historical Suklakhang Palace of the erstwhile Namgyal kings to the White Hall building, built in the memory of the first Political Officer of Sikkim. This place has some prominent buildings including, Mintokgang, the official residence of the Chief Minister of Sikkim. During Flower Festival this place becomes vibrant with colourful decorations. A special glasshouse displays the rich floral heritage of Sikkim. The Orchid Show is the display of many varieties of flowers.
